1. What Good Word Pros does
Good Word Pros is a free matching service for homeowners in the Kansas City metro. You tell us about your project, and we introduce you to one vetted contractor. That introduction is the whole service.
2. You hire the contractor directly
Any work agreement is strictly between you and the contractor. Good Word Pros does not perform home improvement work, does not supervise it, and does not set the contractor’s prices or schedule. We make no warranty about the quality, timing, or cost of any work a contractor performs.
3. Free for homeowners
Homeowners never pay Good Word Pros. Contractors pay us per qualified lead. Using the service creates no obligation to hire anyone.
4. Your responsibilities
You must be at least 18 years old to use the service, and the project details you provide must be accurate to the best of your knowledge.
5. Contractor applications
Applying to join the pro network does not guarantee acceptance. We accept contractors at our discretion based on licensing, insurance, and track record.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, submit false requests, scrape or copy site content, or interfere with the service’s operation.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Good Word Pros is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service or from any work performed by an independent contractor we introduced you to. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
